Head coach of Russian national team, Andrei Rodionenko said in an interview he made with "F-Sport" agency, that he doesn't agree with the policy of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) in terms of
judging in the major international tournaments.
Aliya Mustafina won the gold medal on beam on the World championships, but after she received her score 14.900 she immediately submitted an enquiry, not agreeing with the basic D score on which she as scored. Russian enquiry was rejected by the judges, but the enquiry of Americans Kyla Ross and Simone Biles were both accepted.
"There must be a very serious discussion with the women's technical committee FIG, - said Rodionenko. - They are very conservative, many things are been take into consideration Maybe we have to prepare official documents and send letters to find a common language. I am always alarmed by this attitude. We are not inclined to either complain or blame someone. But at least I can see their loyal attitude to the American enquires and how our enquiry was pointedly rejected. "
